Web banners.
Rakuten produces a wide range of assets designed to deliver personalized offers to visitors. To ensure each experience felt fresh and engaging, we continually developed new content for partners, promoting their products in diverse ways across the site. One example of this is the “Takeover” pop-up shown above, a promotional asset designed to capture attention and drive engagement.
Platform work.

In addition to digital and web content, part of my responsibilities involved brand-focused projects such as updating and refreshing sales sheets. This required identifying and emphasizing key content, ensuring visual clarity, and preparing final files optimized for both print and digital distribution.
E-mail design & web graphics production.
This role was highly production-oriented, with 75% focused on daily email design for dozens of partners. Introduced to Figma at Rakuten, I quickly mastered its strengths through a robust template library and team collaboration, enabling me to create high-quality email and web content, marketing banners, and visual assets for the website and app, as well as migrate and optimize presentation templates in the Beautiful.AI. platform to fully utilize its advanced capabilities.

This project was a collaborative effort between multiple designers and project managers to produce a large volume of banners for various sections of the website. Leveraging both Figma and Adobe tools, we streamlined the design process, enabling quick creation, animation, and export of assets to meet tight production timelines.

This included the ongoing refresh of illustrations for the Product Categories section of the site, ensuring a consistent illustration style and strict adherence to brand guidelines and visual standards.
